Betters Bones FAQs
Is this program only for women with osteoporosis?
No. Better Bones is for women who want to be proactive—whether they’ve been diagnosed, are concerned, or simply want to age strong and capable.
Will this program be safe if I’ve never lifted heavy weights?
Yes. The program is progressive and coached closely in a small group setting to ensure proper technique, safety, and confidence.
How is this different from regular strength classes?
Better Bones is specifically designed to load bone appropriately using evidence-based principles. It’s targeted, intentional, and medical-adjacent—not a general workout.
Can strength training really improve bone health?
Yes. Bone is living tissue and responds to the right type of mechanical stress. Progressive strength training is one of the most effective tools we have to support bone density.
How many people are in each group?
Groups are intentionally small—limited to 5 participants—to allow for personalized coaching and progression.
What if I already do cardio or group fitness classes?
That’s great for cardiovascular health, but it doesn’t replace the specific stimulus bones need. Better Bones complements what you’re already doing.
