Power For Life™: Strength Foundations for Longevity

$280.00

Power for Life™ is a small-group, in-person longevity training experience designed for adults who want more than general fitness.

This program bridges the gap between:

  • Knowing what you should do

  • And training with structure, precision, and purpose

You will train progressively across four sessions using evidence-based loading strategies that support:

• Bone density
• Muscular strength
• Power development
• Balance and coordination
• Structural integrity
• Movement confidence

The objective is not simply stronger bones.

It is sustained strength, capability, and independence for the decades ahead.

After you join the interest list, you’ll receive details about upcoming sessions, scheduling, and an initial movement and alignment check to ensure appropriate loading and progression.

Why Strength & Power Matter for Longevity

Muscle and bone are adaptive tissues.

When trained with the right mechanical load, they become stronger, more resilient, and more protective against injury and decline.

What most adults are missing is not effort —
It is strategic progression.

Power for Life™ applies evidence-based strength and power principles to support:

• Force production (strength)
• Rate of force development (power)
• Fall prevention and balance
• Joint integrity
• Athletic longevity

This is foundational training for an active life.

Who Power for Life™ Is For

This program is ideal for adults who:

• Want to build real strength — not just sweat
• Care about performance in skiing, golf, tennis, cycling, hiking
• Have concerns about bone density but want a broader performance solution
• Value expert coaching and technical precision
• Want structured progression instead of random workouts
• Are serious about aging well and staying capable

No prior strength training experience is required.

Program Format

  • 4 in-person structured sessions

  • Small-group format (limited to 5 participants)

  • Individual alignment and loading assessment

  • Progressive programming with measurable benchmarks

  • Currently offered in person at Promontory Club

  • $70 per session (Promontory personal training rate)

Groups are intentionally small to ensure quality coaching, proper technique, and individualized attention.

How This Fits Into the Longevity Pathways

Power for Life™ is part of the Foundations Pathway within the Keys to Longevity framework.

It is often recommended after a Longevity Strategy Session, where priorities, readiness, and training focus are clarified. However, it may also stand alone for individuals who know they want to build a strong physical base.

This pathway creates the foundation for:

  • More advanced strength work

  • Metabolic and performance-focused training

  • Long-term resilience and confidence in movement

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this only for people with osteoporosis?
No. While bone health is supported, this is a full-spectrum strength and power program designed for proactive adults.

Is it safe if I’m new to strength training?
Yes. Technique, alignment, and gradual progression are prioritized at every step.

How is this different from group fitness classes?
This is strategic, structured training. Every session builds progressively toward measurable strength and resilience outcomes.

I already ski/golf/ride — do I still need this?
Yes. Sport alone does not build the strength and power required for long-term structural resilience. This program supports and protects your activity.
